Cropover has always been on my bucketlist. After all it’s the second best Carnival in the Caribbean next to Trinidad. So missing it this year was not an option. While I love BIM, I couldn’t stop comparing the fetes and vibes on the road to Trinidad Carnival.
When on vacation, do you change into clothes after leaving the beach or do you wear your bathing suit to nearby restaurants and bars? If you are heading to Mallorca this summer wearing swimwear outside of a beach area can cost you upwards of $600 Euros! So bring a maxi dress, or t-shirt, just make sure you cover up!
Band launch season is in full swing. Sections are being sold out, people are complaining that costume prices are TOO DAM HIGH. However while the masses are getting excited for March 2014, a persistent little stink of ugly keeps rearing its head…band discrimination
They Came. We Raved. They Loved Brooklyn. I had the privilege of attending SHM’s show last night at Barclays Center. Let me rephrase this, three Swedish guys slayed my city. Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso came to Brooklyn and f*** sh*** up.
